I was one of those customers whose personal information was compromised, causing someone from Italy withdrawling $775 out of my personal checking account. All due to this former ABN Amro employee. Do I have a leg to stand on when it comes to legal action suit? CitiMortgage acquired ABN Amro Mortgage and offered an Identity monitoring service for 1 year.

I strongly recommend getting the credit / identity theft monitoring service operational - but read the small print carefully - by accepting their offer you may be closing the door on taking future legal action in case you suffer future losses.
